In May, Lubbock daytime high temperatures are in the lower 80s (Farenheit) and evening lows are in the mid 50s (Farenheit). Scattered rain showers are not unusual in May but Lubbock is on the of the sunniest cities in the U.S. Humidity is relatively low as Lubbock is part of a semi-arid climate.
