Program Events for the General Public
Although all symposium sessions and
events are open to the public, the events listed below are particularly suited
for a general audience.
The Samuel Bak Exhibit
will be on display open to the public and free of charge in the Gallery of the
Texas Tech University Library from 25 March to 13 April, 2004. Exhibit hours are
Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.. Visitor parking on campus is $1.00 an hour weekdays and free on weekends
in the Maedgen Theater Lot between 18th St. and the Library. For more information on the artist and his work,

Theater Production of "America Shows Her Colors," a play by Norman Bert, professor and playwright at Texas Tech University, Department of Theater and Dance. The performance will take place at the Main Auditorium of the International Cultural Center, 601 Indiana Ave., from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The performance is open to the public; admission is $2.00 per person. Samuel Bak's Landscapes of Jewish Experience"

by the Fine Arts Doctoral Program at TTU will be served following the keynote
lecture.
SPECIAL PUBLIC PERFORMANCE, 3:15-4:45: Presentation of Excerpts from the Drama "Anne Frank" with Panel Discussion by the Director and Dramaturg in the English Building 001. Refreshments following the event provided by the Fine Arts Doctoral Program at TTU.
