Application procedures and costs

How to Apply:

1. Get Passport ASAP

International Cultural Center on campus has a passport office or you can apply at most US Post Offices. 

Passports can take up to 3 months or more to arrive, do not wait!

2. Get on the Mailing List

Sign up for information by contacting Dr. Christopher Bains at christopher.bains@ttu.edu


3. Pay Deposit

A $300 deposit will be due between January 14th and 28th 2008. 
The deposit is non-refundable unless the applicant is not accepted to the program.


a. Pay at Student Business Services (301 West Hall), tell them it’s for the “Summer in Montpellier Program”.
 b. Get a receipt
 c. Walk the receipt over to ICC (International Cultural Center, 601 Indiana Avenue)

4. Online Application

Application will be on the Study Abroad website at the beginning of 2008.  Be ready in January to get online and fill it out before the deadline.

5. Purchase Flight

You can start looking now, but do not purchase until you are accepted to the program and know all the arrival details.

 

6. Orientation

The Study Abroad office will have a mandatory orientation for our program at the end of April.

There is an option to live in an apartment instead of the homestays for a $4,490 program fee, but does not include the breakfast & dinner costs.
