FREN 3302 Major French Writers
Prerequisite: FREN 2301 and 2302. Students are introduced to short-form literary genres (fables, plays, tales, novellas). Because FREN 3302 is a writing intensive course, students fulfil part of their undergraduate writing intensive requirement while earning credits toward their major or minor in French. The writing intensive requirement is designed to help students develop their ability to “analyze, integrate, formulate and communicate ideas based on their evolving understanding of course material” (from http://english.ttu.edu/uwc01/WI/instructor_login.asp). Regular in-class writing projects and two longer writing assignments with opportunities to revise and rewrite serve the writing intensive objective. The course is taught in French.
