Undergraduate Minor in Italian

The undergraduate minor in Italian consists
of a minimum of 18 hours, of which at least
six must be at the 3000 level or above.

ITAL 1301, ITAL 1302, ITAL 2301, and ITAL 2302
may be counted towards the minor.

Italian Language Courses can be used to
satisfy TTU Foreign Language Requirements.

The following courses are listed in the Texas
Tech Catalog:

1301 and 1302: Elementary Italian I and II,
A Beginning Course in Italian I and II, first and
second semester, 3 hours each

2301 and 2302: Intermediate Italian I and II,
A Second Course in Italian I and II, first
and second semester, 3 hours each
(Prerequisite: 1301 and 1302 or equivalent)

4300: Individual Problems in Italian, 3 hours
(Prerequisite: 2301 and 2302 or equivalent)

4301: Topics in Italian Literature, 3 hours
(Prerequisite: 2301 and 2302 or equivalent)

5301: Topics in Italian Literature, 3 hours

7000: Research
