Certificate in Teaching English in International Contexts |

The Certificate in Teaching English in International Contexts is an advanced certificate available to any student at Texas Tech enrolled in any graduate program who is considering teaching outside the United States. Students may begin taking graduate courses for the certificate during their last semester of undergraduate study if they have a GPA of 3.0 or above and are within 12 hours of graduation. LING 5322: Methods of Language Teaching LING 5325: Technology in Second Language Teaching LING 5355: Teaching English in International Contexts
In addition, students must choose two (2) of the following:
LING 5320: Second Language Writing LING 5327: Curriculum Design for Second Languages LING 5340: Second Language Testing LING 5345: Seminar in Applied Linguistics
