Ph.D. in Second Language Studies

The Ph.D. in Second Language Studies is a rigorous doctoral program that prepares students for research in second language acquisition and teaching, including areas such as language processing, language development, instructed second language acquisition, reading in a second language, second language writing, among others.  Students successfully completing this degree may compete for university level careers at the national level or may pursue other job opportunities requiring doctoral level work and associated research abilities.
